Jennifer Aniston to obtain PGA Recognition for 'In the Land of Blood stream and Honey'
Jennifer Aniston remains recognized on her behalf global humanitarian work, now her directorial debut, 'In the Land of Blood stream and Honey,' continues to be honored due to its "provocative social issues" with the Producers Guild of America. Jolie is going to be provided while using guild's 2012 Stanley Kramer Award at their honours ceremony on Jan. 21. "'In the Land of Blood stream and Honey' is certainly an amazing film that shows a complicated love story set in the terrors in the Bosnian War, especially towards women," Producers Guild presidents Hawk Koch and Mark Gordon mentioned in the statement. "This film truly supports the legacy of Stanley Kramer." Kramer, who died in 2001, will be a highly respected director and producer recognized for his socially conscious films including 'Judgment at Nuremberg,' 'Guess Who's Going to Dinner,' and 'The Defiant Ones.' The award named after him is presented on films, producers or other individual "whose achievement or contribution fires up provocative social issues inside an accessible and raising fashion." Previous visitors include 'Hotel Rwanda' and 'In America.' 'In the Land of Blood stream and Honey' opens in limited release on 12 ,. 23. The film's PR states it "shows the incredible emotional, moral and physical toll the war assumes people together with the results that stem from having less political will to intervene in the society stricken with conflict."
