Video: Bill Murray Might Rather Conduct Harvard's Marching Band Than Read a Ghostbusters 3 Script
We may not know whether Bill Murray will reprise his role of Peter Venkman inside the lengthy looked forward to, highly rumored Ghostbusters 3 but all of us do understand that the infamously reclusive actor will instantly do an Ivy League marching band once the Ghostbusters theme song is at their set list. Video evidence from last weekend’s Harvard-Cornell game follows. In line with the Crimson, the actor stormed the Harvard band bleachers through the 3rd quarter of Saturday’s football game against Cornell following a band finished playing the Ghostbusters theme song. “This guy in pink pants walked up and mentioned, ‘Hey, play that song again,’” mentioned Harvard College Band Manager Rachel L. Hawkins . Hawkins mentioned this guitar rock band didn't have clue Murray was at the sport which “Ghostbusters” is only a a part of their usual set list. “He kind of came out from nowhere. It absolutely was very serendipitous.” After the sport (which Harvard won, 41-31), Murray revisited this rock band and faux-completed simply because they completed fight tunes. The actor was apparently attending the sport with friend and former Saturday Evening Live author James Downey…who does not have affiliation while using Ghostbusters franchise. Last we heard, Bill Murray had still not see the Ghostbusters 3 script. Regardless, Serta Aykroyd hopes to begin production this spring. [The Crimson via Vulture]
